Loving words from some who miss Curtis everyday!
♥ hi curtis wanting to let everyone know i miss you a lot. we had a lot in common and the special thing we knew pretty much what the other one was thinking without saying much. i miss those times when you talked to me about motors most of the time you already know the answer. i learned more about motors when you would call and talk about them. the times you would call and talk about your relationships fishing dear hunting those big ones you always got or the one that got away. i call your cell phone just to hear yor voice i really miss hearing you playing golf together hunting and fishing. the last time you where down here we went bowling you asked me how do you add up the score in bowling i told you the next time im in miller we would go bowling and i would show you that day never came. its been almost a year i think about it all the time .the way curtis got along with everybody young and old the man that he had become and the person he could of been. curtis i miss you always and will never forget you the world lost a good man and i lost a great son dad

♥ To sweet "little' Curtis:
We know you are 18 years and not very little anymore but you're still little and sweet to us. The size of your body never compared to the size of your heart...at any age.
It's unbelievable that it's been a year since God took you into His bosom. Within that time there have been a tremendous amount of tears shed. Many in sorrow but also in joy at being able to know you and share in your life even if just for a short time. Thank God for photographs and videos. Who would have thought they could bring so much comfort?
We say it in our prayers but feel free to pass our thanks on to God for sharing you with us. And we send you our thanks for being who you were when you were with us and for continuing to be there for us. When God chose you for his choir of angels he picked a good one. Knowing that you've got our back helps make the tough times a little more bearable.
Sing sweet little Curtis sing sweet. We look forward to seeing you again in the Glory of Heaven.
Love and kisses
Marty and Sandy Wilmes and family

Just Maybe
Just Maybe...we were supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person we will know how to be grateful for that gift. Just Maybe...when the door of happiness closes another opens; but often times we look so long at the closed door that we do not even see the new one which has been opened for us. Just Maybe...it is true that we do not know what we have until we lose it but it is also true that we do not know what we have been missing until it arrives. Just Maybe...the happiest of people do not necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Just Maybe...the brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past after all you cannot go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes failures and heartaches. Just Maybe...you should dream what you want to dream go where you want to go be what you want to be because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you dream of and want to do. Just Maybe...there are moments in life when you miss someone–a parent a spouse a friend a child–so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real so that once they are around you appreciate them more. Just Maybe...the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you have ever had. Just Maybe...you should always try to put yourself in others’ shoes. If you feel that something could hurt you it probably will hurt the other person too. Just Maybe...you should do something nice for someone every single day even if it is simply to leave them alone. Just Maybe...giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Do not expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart; but if it does not be content that it grew in yours. Just Maybe...happiness waits for all those who cry all those who hurt all those who have searched and all those who have tried for only they can appreciate the importance of all the people who have touched their lives. Just Maybe...you should not go for looks; they can deceive; do not go for wealth even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes our heart smile. Just Maybe...you should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet enough trials to make you strong enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you you did not go alone; for part of us with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken the pieces are left to begin; but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. -Author Unknown
♥ His Smile by Judy Strough
Some called him "Big Curt" some called him "Turtle" His smile was his trademark without a hurdle. A room would brighten when Curtis came in 'cause the first thing you saw would be his grin!
A son and brother so precious; a friend so true! Whatever he had he'd share it with you! A thought a deed a kind word for a while But always oh always He'd share 'His Smile'.
Our hearts are breaking our thoughts are going wild! We've lost our friend: We've lost our child! "But only for a while" I heard Jesus say "He's been chosen for the Master's Bouquet!"
Hand selected by Jesus from this 'garden of life' Gone to Heaven!-He's through with this strife! Why is he gone? God only knows. But Oh what a treasure A "smiling rose!"
